Meez Go Platform – Client Terms of Use

This page describes the terms and conditions governing your use of the Meez Go platform as a client to request moving services in Tunisia. By using the platform or finalising any booking request, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

1. Definition of Meez Go and platform role

Meez Go is an online intermediary platform that connects clients who need furniture moving services with independent service providers operating in accordance with Tunisian law.

Meez Go is not itself a carrier, truck owner or direct party to the service contract between you and the provider. The actual service contract is formed between you and the provider who accepts your request, while Meez Go’s role is limited to providing the platform, relaying requests, facilitating contact and, when possible, helping to follow up bookings.

The provider remains solely responsible, towards you and any third parties, for the proper performance of the moving service (quality, safety, compliance with schedules and applicable law).

2. Conditions for using the platform as a client

By using Meez Go you confirm that you are a natural person of legal age and capacity under Tunisian law, or that you are duly authorised to act on behalf of another party.

You agree to provide accurate and up to date information (name, contact details, addresses, description of furniture and service) and not to use the platform to place bookings in someone else’s name without their explicit consent, or by using a provider’s or third party’s data without right.

You must not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, in a manner contrary to public order, or in any way that may harm providers, the platform or the reputation of Meez Go.

3. Booking request and confirmation of service

When you fill in and submit a booking form via the platform, you are requesting to be matched with a suitable moving provider. Any price displayed to you on the platform is an indicative estimate based on the information you entered and does not in itself constitute a binding final offer until you and the provider have both confirmed the final details.

The estimated price may be adjusted, by mutual agreement between you and the provider, if the initial information proves to be inaccurate or is changed (different address, more floors, larger volume of furniture, different actual distance, etc.), provided this is done before the service is carried out.

When you use a verification code or scan a QR code on the confirmation page to validate completion of the service, you acknowledge that the move has been carried out in its main aspects and you authorise the order to be closed in the system. This does not prevent you from raising comments or complaints if there is clear under performance from the provider.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices displayed on the platform are indicative estimates mainly calculated from distance, approximate volume and other parameters you provide. The final price may be adjusted, before the service starts, by mutual agreement between you and the provider if the original information changes or was incomplete.

At present, Meez Go does not collect funds from you on behalf of the provider and does not hold any money belonging to you. Payment for the service is made directly between you and the provider according to the method you both agree on (for example, cash or bank transfer). It is your responsibility to verify the amount and payment method before the move begins.

5. Client duties and responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and clear information about pickup and destination addresses, floors, the presence or absence of an elevator, and the approximate nature and volume of the furniture.
  • Ensure that the truck can access the agreed location (parking or loading/unloading area) and, where necessary, obtain any permits required to access certain residences or neighbourhoods.
  • Be present yourself, or appoint a responsible representative, at the agreed times to supervise loading and unloading, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise with the provider.
  • Refrain from requesting any service that is unlawful or that creates an unreasonable level of risk for the provider or their team.

6. Provider responsibility and limitation of Meez Go’s liability

The provider is solely responsible for physically performing the move, for the condition of their vehicle and equipment, and for the conduct of their team while the service is being delivered.

Meez Go endeavours to work with reliable providers but does not guarantee the skill level or personal commitment of any specific provider and cannot be held liable for acts or omissions by that provider or their team where these fall outside Meez Go’s direct control.

To the extent permitted by law, Meez Go is not liable for any direct or indirect damage, financial loss, damage to furniture or disputes over amount or payment method arising from delays, poor performance or any other shortcoming attributable to the provider. In such cases, the dispute is primarily to be resolved between you and the provider. You may nevertheless report the incident to Meez Go so it can be recorded and, where possible, taken into account to improve the service.

7. Complaints and disputes

If a dispute arises regarding the performance of the service, you are encouraged first to seek an amicable solution directly with the provider, keeping as much evidence and useful information as possible (photos, messages, etc.).

You may also inform Meez Go via the contact page or the official communication channels indicated on the site, so that the platform can record your complaint and, where possible, follow it up with the provider or use it to improve service quality.

Any dispute directly related to your use of the platform itself (and not to the details of the service delivered by the provider) is governed by Tunisian law and falls under the jurisdiction of the competent Tunisian courts.

8. Data protection and communication with you

The data you provide via the platform (such as name, phone number, addresses and notes) is used mainly to create and manage your booking requests, connect you with a provider, monitor the status of your requests and improve Meez Go’s services in accordance with applicable law.

Meez Go or the provider may contact you by phone, messages, messaging apps or email about your requests, important reminders or satisfaction surveys.

You may request correction, updating or, in some cases, deletion of certain data, within the limits set by law and subject to the need to retain certain basic records of your orders. Such requests can be made using the contact options available on the “Contact” page.

9. Misuse of the platform and suspension of access

Meez Go reserves the right to suspend or block your access to the platform, temporarily or permanently, in particular in the following situations:

  • using the platform for fraudulent purposes or to submit clearly false or abusive requests or reports;
  • repeated or deliberate abusive behaviour towards providers or the Meez Go team;
  • serious breach of these terms or use of the platform in connection with unlawful activities.

10. Changes to these terms

Meez Go may update these terms of use from time to time to reflect legal, technical or operational developments affecting the platform.

Any updated version will be published on this page, with an indication of the date of last update where possible. Your continued use of the platform after the changes are published will be deemed to constitute acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by Tunisian law.

To the extent permitted by law, any dispute directly related to your use of the Meez Go platform as a client shall be submitted to the competent Tunisian courts.
